How to Troubleshoot a Flashlight and Determine whether the Problem is Caused By the Switch or The LED Pill
The two main Parts in an LED Flashlight are :
1- Tail Cap Switch :
in order to Determine which one of them is not working You'll need only :
a Piece of Wire (20cm) and an 18650 Battery
Connect them as Shown in the following Picture :

2- The LED Pill (the thing that Houses the LED and Screws into the Flashlight Host) :
in order to Determine which one of them is not working You'll need only :
a Piece of Wire (20cm) and an 18650 Battery
Connect them as Shown in the following Picture :

| Connect one of the wire terminals to the Negative Side of the Battery
and Connect the Other terminal of the wire on the Side of the Pill
and then Touch the Positive terminal of the Battery to the Spring of the Pill

If the LED turned on Then The Problem is Caused By the Switch, to Fix or Replace the Flashlight Switch Click Here
But if the Led didn't turn on then There is a Problem in the Pill, Either there is a Loose wire because of a bad Soldering Joint, or the Led is Burnt.
either way, it can be fixed easily!
